Jim and Kelly | Couples Session | St. Patrick's County Park

I've known Kelly and Jim for a little over a year now. My husband and I were blessed to be able to photograph their wedding just over a year ago.

A few short weeks after getting married, this amazing couple received heart-breaking news. Jim had stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

The last year has been a trying one for them - however, good news came just weeks after celebrating their first anniversary: Jim was in remission.

This couple is SO, SO special. Such an inspiration. So thankful I know them. So blessed to be able to photograph them in this moment and time. And incredibly blessed to see TRUE LOVE. They are BEAUTIFUL. And their love is shining! ♥

"True love doesn't happen right away; it's an ever-growing process. It develops after you've gone through many ups and downs, when you've suffered together, cried together, laughed together." ~Ricardo Montalban

Trip of a Lifetime {Europe} 2012

In April, my husband and I, along with our two best friends, traveled to Europe for our very near and dear friend Roni and his bride-to-be Donna's wedding.

We did a little travel along the way, and I must admit, I was overwhelmed at the sight of some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

When I was growing up, I always DREAMED of traveling to these places - never thought in my lifetime I'd get the privilege to go. I still think about our time there - the places we saw - the awe I felt. WOW. Even now, I'm finding there are hardly words to express how thankful I am!

While I don't think photographs can do these places justice, I couldn't stop clicking the shutter - in hopes I could capture some of what I was actually seeing with my own eyes. And, I wanted to share in the experience too. :)

Here are some of my favorite images from our trip, with a few from the wedding too! Not only did we get to travel to Europe and see some of the most amazingly beautiful places in the world - but we also got to see one of our nearest and dearest friends tie the knot to his beautiful bride. That was the icing on the cake!

Hope you enjoy these photographs - although, I do hope you all one day, can visit these places and see them, up close and personal - to experience the awe and amazement of some of God's most beautiful creations. :)

My sweet husband and I - I adore this man and am so blessed I was able to make the journey with him. It was a once in a lifetime trip and so thankful it was with him! Love this man!
